Claimer is a tech company with a vision of being the interface between SMEs and government incentives, matchmaking businesses with incentives, and providing a hassle-free way to claim them. Our first product makes claiming UK R&D tax credits a breeze.

With a minimum viable product in hand, we've spent the last 18 months flying under the radar and learning all we can about the R&D tax relief space. In this time we've filed more than 400 claims, recovering millions of pounds of relief for startups, and used the learnings to build the technology that will power our vision - which went live in July.

We already have some amazingly talented people in the team, but we still have some more positions to fill for the next chapter of the company's growth journey.

✍️ The role

We’re looking for someone to join our sales team as a customer success manager.

Your responsibilities will involve ensuring that our customers have a fantastic experience with Claimer - handling their queries throughout the claim process.

In addition to this, you'll be building up self-service help resources for our clients, feeding back to the product team on what would improve the client experience and supporting on managing relationships with our partners

πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» In the first 6 months you will

  • Learn a lot about R&D tax credits from our team! We'll teach you all the technical things you need to know to be able to tackle the other items in this list
  • Field initial calls with potential clients to determine who is a good fit for our service
  • Conduct due diligence to ensure that we have all information required to proceed with claims, and source this information from clients where needed
  • Handle client queries, including those regarding technical or tax issues
  • Provide support on managing relationships with our partners
  • Use your experience of client interactions to build up useful help content for clients
  • Track HMRC payouts, liaise with clients and HMRC in the case of any delays, manage invoicing clients
  • Monitor when clients are ready to make a new claim and liaising with sales
