Major Account Manager- Project Specialist

CBE is a nationwide technology deployment company, a full-service system design and systems integrator. We specialize in large-scale deployments, long-term maintenance and service of nearly any type of on-premise hardware and software technology, including, but not limited to: Point of Sale Systems, Security, Media, and Networking.

We are looking to add to our dynamic team an enthusiastic Major Account Manager/Projects Specialist to be the face and voice to some of our National Clients. As a successful candidate, you will be involved in day-to-day business interactions, communications, and managing specific projects. You will work closely with our sales and service teams to achieve their goals and objectives by communicating the value of our products and services to your customers.

To excel in this role, you will have excellent communication, project managements, and account management skills. Previous experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager, or Customer Service Manager with direct account assignments is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles. . Preference on experience in managing accounts/projects Petroleum C-Store Technology, Verifone POS Systems, Gilbarco POS Systems and Dispensers, NCR POS Systems, Alarm and Security Systems and Related.

Assist in the definition of project success criteria and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and desired quality before solutions are sold to customers
Coordinate internal resources to deliver customer solutions
Ensure all projects delivered are within time, scope, quality, and cost constraints
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Identify when dedicated resources need to be hired proactively to staff projects
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Run customer facing project status meetings as required
Develop customer project status reports as required
Manage project issues and risks
Develop and manage project dependencies
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Foster relationships with customers enabling future account sales
Required Qualifications and Experience
Combination of education and relevant work experience. Education, preferably in business administration or project management
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Major Account customer facing role
Experience managing accounts/projects Petroleum C-Store Technology, Verifone POS Systems, Gilbarco POS Systems and Dispensers, NCR POS Systems, Alarm and Security Systems prefered
Excellent project planning and scheduling skills
Solid technical background
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products, Smartsheet, etc.
Ability to travel if needed.
