1099 Outside Sales Representative - Industrial/Manufacturing B2B

We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional who can capitalize on our disruptive technology and help build strong growth in the Livonia, Farmington and Plymouth markets. Our exclusive commercial waste compaction trucks reduce open top dumpster hauls by up to 70% (10 dumpster hauls down to 3). Our Sales Professionals introduce commercial customers to our services and close new service contracts. You'll target and identify our core customers, show them how our services dramatically reduce their dumpster hauls (and consequently save them 20% or more in costs), and manage the sales process to close. Our customers are in varied industries, including manufacturing, shipping & logistics, and residential and commercial construction, to name a few. Virtually any business with a roll off dumpster is an eligible candidate for our services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for scheduling your appointments, maintaining your CRM records, and customer follow up to close each sale.
  • Leads are not provided as a matter of course.
  • Your sales meetings will take place on the customer's premises. Local travel is required. Demonstrations of our machines are extremely valuable.
  • Utilize our marketing materials and presentations.
  • Demonstrated comfort level in selling to mid-level management and occasional C-suite/business owner is a must.
  • Represent our company at appropriate association meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Preparing reports for sales and marketing tracking.
  • Learn and utilize our CRM system and other technology. Keep good records.
  • Accurate expense reporting.


  • This is a 1099 position. Compensation is based on 100% of first months’ revenue
  • We never cap commissions.
  • Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience selling in a related field - shipping/freight/distribution, manufacturing, waste, etc. is a bonus.
  • Experience in outside sales, territory sales, or regional sales.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 1-3 years cold calling/hunter mentality/ proven track record of success


Job Types: Part-time, Commission

Pay: $20,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

  • Compensation is based on 100% of first month's sales revenue
  • Average sale ranges $500 - $5000
  • Uncapped commissions
