eCommerce Marketplace Account Manager

The eCommerce Marketplace Account Manager is responsible for driving growth and development for Plasticplace products in the current Marketplace accounts (Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc.) and for expanding the business to new accounts.

This position will work cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure clear communication leads to excellent results in all aspects of the business including sales, merchandising, and managing product catalog information.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Drive revenue growth within existing accounts

· Identify new sales online channels, platforms, etc., for growth opportunities

· Achieve and maintain excellent vendor ratings on AVC and other platforms

· Add additional accounts to increase the reach of the Plasticplace products

· Work closely with Supply Chain team to accurately forecast demand ensuring all orders are fulfilled and shipped complete and timely

· Collaborate with other functional areas to plan, develop, and implement our strategy for key marketplace accounts

· Communicate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve service metrics and overall customer experience/feedback for Marketplace customers to ensure high seller ratings

· Collaborate with our Product Development team to identify opportunities for new product variety and categories to drive incremental growth


· At least 3 years of managing Marketplace accounts – Amazon experience highly desirable

· Understand all aspects of Amazon strategy and confidently recommend growth opportunities – including AMS and advertising platforms

· Proven ability to project and meet sales and profitability targets (with equal emphasis on both) as well as maintaining excellent vendor ratings

· Expert level knowledge of Marketplace, “big box” and other retailer business models

· Thorough understanding of the Marketplace sales funnel and Marketplace shopper journey

· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

· Strong analytical skills. The ability to objectively evaluate data and use it for future optimizations

· Problem solving and the ability to solve unforeseen events quickly. (rapid changes in campaigns, product stock outs, campaign performance updates)

· Comfortable with presenting data and incorporating it into results-sharing
